Yalta Conference
A meeting held from February 4 through 11 of 1945, between the United States, Great Britain, and the Soviet Union. The representing each country was Franklin D. Roosevelt, Winston Churchill, and Joseph Stalin. They planned the end of World War II, agreed on how Europe would be divided, and discussed how to handle the struggling Countries. This event showed the United States and Soviet Union how different their ideas were.
